WISE Employment is a not-for-profit community service organisation with branches across Australia.
Founded in 1992, WISE began operation as an employment agency for people with an intellectual disability. We have grown to become one of the leading specialist employment services in Australia.
WISE Employment services – we provide assistance to job seekers and employers under the Australian Government’s Disability Employment Services and Job Services Australia initiatives.
WISE Recruitment services – it’s about employers too and finding the right person for the job. We know how complex and time consuming it can be for employers, so we’re here to make the process easier and ultimately more successful.
WISE Training – as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) we offer skill enhancement programs for job seekers and assist in industry-based training and mentoring for students.
WISE Social Enterprises – also operates four social enterprises: Clean Force Property Services, Incito Mainteance, GBE Electrial and Equity Labour Services (ELS).
Our main purpose is to serve and enrich the lives of disadvantaged job seekers in the community. Employment can be a powerful vehicle for growth and personal development. With increasing self-esteem and confidence people can develop the ability to change their lives. They feel more connected with the community through their contribution and the change to interact with others in the workplace.
WISE works in close partnership with government agencies, local industry and commerce, the community sector, training organisations, mental health organisations and carers alike. We also contribute to the community by using our surplus to invest in initiatives that support the most marginalised members of our community – those unlikely to succeed under existing programs.
